Right Service, Right Time is a meaningless slogan from Duxbury. Kids are getting a Poor Service, Hardly any of the Time. I thought we were past the era of empty phrases and mission statements – ‘Every Child Matters’ (except poor children and those with disabilities or learning difficulties) ‘Outcome Modelling’ (another of Tony Howell’s crackpot ideas) and ‘Brighter Futures’ (meaning hefty salary rises for senior Officers)
Everyone is jumping on this bandwagon. The new Clinical Commissioning Group for paediatric health provision has already pronounced that the majority of kids in the city with language and communication difficulties will NOT get any speech and language therapy as they have adopted the Right Service Right Time criteria………
Right for whom, we should be asking……..
