Whatever the outcome of Cllr Clancy’s challenge to Cllr Bore for the leadership of the Labour Group, he has anyway done the Labour Party and Birmingham a great service by getting these ideas out into the public domain.

Great to see someone taking this seriously. Service Birmingham is a giant “value extraction machine” as someone put it in the Post recently. And I saw in the Post as well that Stephen Hughes publicly acknowledged the £120m figure for the first time.
